Chillociraptor mastermind Danilo Gossain is a two-time Latin Grammy-nominated music producer established in Bogota, Colombia. He is a magna cum laude grad from Berklee College of Music in Boston, and currently works as a producer, arranger, composer, engineer and percussionist In Gossain Music, the company he founded and directs. He also works as a professor in El Bosque University in Bogota, and is an Active member of both the American and the Latin Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (Grammy). Some of his achievements include a Latin Grammy nomination for best children's music production, a gold and a silver medal in the Ibero-American Festival of Advertising and Events, in both cases with music he produced for The Coca-Cola Company, and a nomination for best produced record in the Vertical Music Festival.

Antonio Gandia
Antonio Gandía graduated from Berklee College of Music, in Boston, Massachusetts. He is a bass player with extensive live performance and studio recording experience in the Boston, Nashville, Mexico City, New Jersey, and New York City areas. His performances and recordings have covered a variety of styles such as R&B, Latin, Pop, Rock, Reggae and Jazz.

Antonio has performed and recorded with drummer Antonio Sanchez, pianist/flute player Oriente Lopez (formerly of the group Irakere) and alto saxophone sensation Miguel Zenon, among many others.

His playing is featured among many others on the independently released CD’s of singer-songwriters Rob Giles (of The Rescues and Circa Zero), Dan Sheridan, Andy and Denise, and Scott Sheldon, as well as on saxophonist/composer Nacho Maldonado's World Improv Orchestra.

He has worked extensively with Danilo Gossain, recording bass for many of his projects, one of which was nominated for a Latin Grammy.

Antonio is also a published composer and songwriter and a member of ASCAP. His music has been used on TV on programs such as "One Life to Live' and "The District".

Nacho Maldonado

Composer, saxophonist and wind player, former Chillociraptor member Nacho Maldonado studied music at the University of Music of the National Institute of Fine Arts of Mexico and various courses at the New England Conservatory. He completed his musical training by studying privately under several saxophone instructors, as well as arranging and harmony teacchers. He spent the beginning of his career doing commercial music, recording, playing and traveling as a session musician.

Today he is involved in several ensembles. His own personal project is WIO, World Improv Orchestra.

 Some of Maldonado’s career highlights: represented Mexico at the music space in the national bicentennial celebration day in Hong Kong and Macao.composer and conductor for the Metropolitan Theater’s Pausa Cultural for the Mayors of the World summit, tours with his own Venus project, along with vocalists Ruben Albarran and Ely Guerra, performing at the Cervantino International Festival and Foro Plaza, among others, concert in Saint-Nazaire France to dismiss a sailboat frigate departing toward the Yucatan coast in Mexico, and special guest with Café Tacuba’s Gira RE T as a saxophonist.

Maldonado has been active as a composer, live performer and session musician. Through live performance Maldonado has found a way to merge his two careers into the pleasure of making music for healing purposes, to liven up the spirit, bring joy to the heart and touch the soul.
